The simple symbolism of many of Air Transat's elements help to establish it as a recognizable Canadian brand. As one of the original branches of Transat A.T. Inc., it shares many brand elements with its parent company.

Logo
Air Transat's logo is exactly that of their parent company's, Transat A.T., with the word "Air" above the "Transat". This allows for complete association of the brands - if you know Transat A.T., you'll instantly recognize Air Transat, and vice versa.
The simple, yet attractive, text makes the brand easily recognizable and easily remembered. Even one who is unfamiliar with the brand can understand what the company is about - transportation in the air. The star shape on the logo reminds one of both the skies and excellent, star-quality service. The colours used in the logo remind the viewer of travel, as sky blue reminds one of air travel, and ocean blue reminds one of beach getaways.

All over the logo, website, and advertisements, "travel colours" are present. The shades of blue remind the viewer of vacation, and so when one dreams about flying through the blue sky to reach their blue beach destination, they'll associate it with Air Transat.

The brand is almost always seens as very simple and reliable, and their are very few complications during vacations. Air Transat is well known for providing easy-to-use travel packages, due to its identity as simple and reliable.
